Even though we don’t offer a traditional shelter services, we operate a mobile unit that brings assistance directly to those experiencing homelessness, meeting them where they are and providing immediate aid. Comprehensive On-the-Job Training for Community Health Workers
Our Comprehensive On-the-Job Training (OJT) program empowers aspiring Community Health Workers (CHWs) with the direct experience and specialized skills required to serve vulnerable, unhoused populations effectively. This unique program integrates the completion of the rigorous online Community Health Worker program at Calbright College with immersive, real-world application. As trainees complete their online coursework, they work shoulder-to-shoulder with our experienced outreach professionals, learning to deliver trauma-informed care, navigate complex social service networks, and provide critical support directly on the streets. By bridging academic foundation with front-line experience, we ensure that every individual we serve receives the highest standard of compassionate, competent care
